Dr. BJ Johnson is CEO and co-founder of ClearFlame Engine Technologies. BJ earned his PhD from Stanford University where he modified diesel engines to run on sustainable fuels.

BJ’s goal is to convert the over 3 million diesel trucks on the road and turn them into clean-burning engines.

In 2021, BJ was named to the Grist 50 — a list of emerging leaders working on real-world solutions to the world’s biggest challenges.
